Returning equipment

Hi

We ended our contract with you on 24/3/22. I received a bag to send back our equipment today. However looking online I see that you no longer require tivo cisco boxes to be sent back. Ours is at least 10 years old. Do i need to send it back or can it be taken for recycling. Plus our router unfortunately got smashed by a helpful granddaughter dropping it down the stairs so will I be charged for that?

What router do you have? Details of VM's return requirements are listed on the following page. This can be overridden if you're given specific instructions..

HI skally, thanks for the message and sorry to hear that  you are having issues with this. We would require the 3, 4 and 5 back and the standard charge for non return of the hub would be £40.00 - Chris

I'm not sure what set top box we've got. Will the £40 be billed to us

Looks like you might have old kit that possibly only needs to be recycled rather than returned re the tv box https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Managing-Your-Account-Cable/How-to-return-unused-TiVo-box-Cisco...

This might also be the case with the smashed up hub if it's earlier than a hub 3 eg Superhub 2 in which case you have saved £40.

Hi Skally, if it is the superhub, 2 or ac then this would not need to be returned. Chris
