Cancel due to price increase

I signed a new 18m contract in Nov 2020 (Black Friday) - and was told that it wouldn't go up during the contract.

Last March it went from £45 to £49 a month.

I just had a mail telling it is going up another £5.75 a month - that's nearly 22% increase since the beginning of 2021.

I thought new contracts were exempt from the increases?

Will try to call them but that sounds easier said than done.
