Online chat

Why does the online chat never ever work. Don't understand the point in offering a service that is never ever online any time of day.

Its not open on Sunday.

If you are trying when it IS open, and get all our agents are busy, refresh your browser a couple of times you'll usually get through.

Tried that over and over.  It's as if Virgin are deliberately avoiding customers.

Always count it a lot quicker speaking to someone than it is typing in questions and waiting for the response. 


There are 10 types of people: those who understand binary and those who don't and F people out of 10 who do not understand hexadecimal

It takes longer to type to someone than it does to have an actual conversation.

That is what was being said, and the implication is that is why it is busy for the webchat as it takes longer to do.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues speaking to the team via web chat. 

If they're all busy then it might appear as though we're offline, we will only show as available if there is any agent available to chat.

Never heard of such a useless online chat service.

Had a chat on Saturday and computers were down so could not help, was asked to contact next day (failure as apparently not open Sunday).

Have been trying all day Monday & today and always chat not available.

Have Virgin Media never heard of a queuing system like other companies have, says open 8am -8pm, you have just 1 support staff on this online chat service.
