My password characters don't match when I call 150

I have rung 150 from my landline about three times in the last month or so. Each time I'm asked to press 3 characters from my password into my phones keypad & everytime I'm told they don't match although I still get put through to an assistant who then does the usual security checks.

Can someone confirm that the password would be the same one I use to sign into my Virgin media account or would it be different one that I may have set up sometime in the past?

No, the password used on the phone is not your My Virginmedia password.

Next time you speak to Virgin Media, you should create a telephone password.

Hi blobbyrob, 

Thanks for your post and apologies to hear you're having an issue with this. 

The password may not be the one you use to sign in to My Virgin Media. it would depend on whether you chose the same one. 

If you've not been able to remember this, I can get a letter sent to the account address with the information Smiley Happy
