Hi,
I have just cancelled my Virgin Media account as I'm moving to a property with no service.
I was told I would need to show proof of tenancy for the new property for the cancellation fee of £183 to be waived.
However, where I am moving we will not have a tenancy agreement as we are looking after the property for friends.
The guy I was talking through was unaware what else they would accept? Would a letter from the property owner work? If not what else would be accepted?
I look forward to your help.

Hi @BobbyBeers
"Customers will need to provide proof of their new address with a wide range of readily-available documents accepted including mortgage and rental agreements, utility bills, bank statements and driving licenses."

Hi BobbyBeers,
Welcome to the Community and thanks for getting in touch.
I can definitely understand your predicament with this. Will you be changing your address for any other services such as mobile or insurance? If so, are you able to provide any documents that display your new address from those?
Let us know and we will do all we can to help.
Thanks
