Moving my router upstairs

So I wanted the router upstairs because my internet is super unstable sometimes it's good and sometimes it goes 100kb per second but when I called they asked for $99. Also, I have a wifi tp-link it helped a lot but still unstable.

Virgin only do anything for free if you have a fault, as this is included in your rental price. Customer requested alterations are not included, so you have to pay for 2 hours of a technicians time to install the specialised cables & adjust the levels at the cabinet to compensate for the change in cable length at your property. They also have to ensure that any work done does not have a detrimental effect on the network.
