More leaving woes

I've been trying to leave Virgin but have ended up going round in circles. I've written to the address

Diamond Plaza, Daleside Road, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, NG2 3GG but the letter was returned as "No longer at this address". Tried through the website and just ended up going round in circles and getting nowhere and thoroughly confused. I'm on a PAYG mobile and can't spend too much time on it.

I'm beginning to think that the only way to get their attention is to cancel the Direct Debit.

That's interesting.  I've started the process, writing in after wasting hours on the phone.

I strongly advise you not to cancel your DD.  VM are notorious for automated actions that cause hassle and put black marks on credit records.

Thanks but, as I mentioned, my recorded delivery letter to Diamond Plaza, Daleside Road, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, NG2 3GG has been returned. Have Virgin moved?

I saw that.  As I wrote there I could only think that is the right address and they haven't moved.  A quick internet search shows that address is still listed eg  https://www.192.com/atoz/business/nottingham-ng2/telecommunication-networks/virgin-media/d1b5d303c98...

Even if they had moved then they would surely have put mail redirection in place.

Was there any note on the return, as to the reason?

Just "No longer at this address" so either the PO have delivered it to the wrong address or Virgin are refusing letters.

It's not very good if they have moved, that address is still listed by Virgin for letters.

Check out the above link. News report dated August 2021. VM are likely not accepting mail addressed to  Virgin Media Sales Operation Support as that dept is no longer there.
