Leaving Virgin media at the end of the contract

Hi Guys,

last payment was made on the 28th of June.

My contract expires on the 22nd. Asked to leave but only given 2 options: leave immediately or leave in 30 days.

I choose to leave immediately as my new contract starts on the 22nd of July and didn't want to renew it but I am wondering: why do I have to pay for a full month in advance if my line will be probably stopped tomorrow? Only giving me 15 days?

Hi Lillo91,

Thank you for reaching out to us in our community and welcome, sorry to hear you are leaving us.

When you cancel 30 days notice is required however if in your case you chose to cancel immediately due to install of the new services the 30 days charge will still stand.

Regards

Paul.
