How to renew your contract and avoid inconsistent package quotes

We all know how hard it is to renew a contract. But did you know you can save money by calling more than once.? ... see below my recent experience.

My first call was a Scottish lady at retention she told me £71. uk person

second call : Call centre indian lady my package quote was £61. I also asked her to put note on my record about it.

Third call: Uk guy told me its £71 and refused to do it for £61 as stated on notes. He said thats the final price but was very clearly lying as i could tell by his change in attitude.

Forth call : Indian Lady.. The package quote was..... £61 again. So i took the package.

All this was done from 5pm till 7:15pm on 23/09/22.

The inconsistency of the price is very worrying and i feel sorry for older customers who will not be aware.

I'm sorry to hear you feel this way about the offers given on the phone call.
May I ask what the discussion was on the call?
If you were to mention to an agent that you wish to leave then whatever offers there are, will show up, however should you mention to an agent  you wish to renew, when inputting that in to the system, it will generate what is there.
May I ask if you were able to get your package sorted?
