I've now been sitting on the phone for an hour and a half trying to cancel my service. have been transferred numerous times and now sitting listening to music. Absolutely disgraceful service. Think I'll give up and cancel in writing.
I feel for you. Been there done that. Apparently you can't cancel in writing !!!! I have just been told that by two different Virgin media people. You have to speak to an Accounts Specialist. There is no menu button for this person/s. You have to be put through after speaking to 'thinking of leaving' person!! For a media company they make it extremely difficult.
