Hello,
My contract will be nearly finished. So, I need help urgently. I got a discount for this month. But next month my bill will be double. How can I leave VM without paying an extra bill?
Kind reards

Hi @dahli
You need to give VM 30 days notice to cancel your contract.
You can do this now, you don't have to wait until your discounts end.
If you wait until your discounts end you will be paying full price during the 30 day cancellation period.
You should call150 from a Virgin landline or mobile, or 0345 454 1111, option 4 (thinking of leaving us), but best to call at 8am when lines first open and are least busy to avoid call queues
Retentions (thinking of leaving us) are generally based in the UK, and have a greater degree of knowledge and flexibility, along with a larger range of discounts than the front line agents.
Hopefully you can then negotiate a deal with them that's suitable to your pocket and needs in exchange for a new contract. Or failing that you can place your cancellation with that team.

Thank you. I will do that. Can I give a cancelletion notice via phone or should I send an e mail? If I take sensible offer from VM, I will think stay.

Hi again @dahli
VM don't have a customer facing email address.
You can also write to them to as per the terms-and-conditions
If writing make sure you sign it and send it by registered post. Virgin Media Sunderland SR43 4AA
Replies from the following methods aren't instant, around 4 hours at times, as telephone calls take priority dependent upon staffing availability and call queues
You can text VM on 0753 305 1809 or speak to the team on WhatsApp on 0730 532 7112
