When I moved house a couple of months ago I was assured my contract just would just continue but it has been reset to a start date of the end of January.
My package is the same and the customer service agent assured me that the contract would remain in place.
I need to leave Virgin now and the new contract will have a crippling early exit fee which is completely unfair.
How can I get it back to the original start date as customer services have not been helpful.

You should indeed be able to carry the same contract across. Sounds like a breach of contract by Virgin. I'd complain.
