I had a Virgin rep knock on my door as virgin has just gone live in my street.
I said I was interested in the Vivid 350 service, nothing else.
I was given an install date and then a few days before that date an Esign contract arrived as an email.
It also included a telephone service, I never agreed to that. It would be of no use to me as I am very hard of hearing. I cannot use a phone. The cold calling advisor was aware of that. I did an online chat with a virgin advisor and was told that it couldn't be cancelled but a note would be put on my records.
I then instructed the advisor to cancel the complete order and I would NOT be signing the contract. I have not signed anything at all.
On the day of the proposed installation, two men arrived in a van and I informed them that I had cancelled my order. They were unaware of this.
Now, I have had a letter informing me of a telephone conversation with me about a rescheduled installation date for the end of March.
That conversation did not happen, I am very deaf. It is impossible for that to happen.
There is no email address I can use to make contact and obviously I cannot telephone.
So, is there an address I can write to as I am completely fed up with this. If they turn up on the date stated I will be throwing them off my property.
Do I have to go to the press with this to get it stopped?
