Confirmation of contract end

Hi - leaving VM after about 15 years.

Asked for a confirmation of my instruction, and was told it would take 24 hours.

Weeks have passed without anything, my landline has been moved to another provider now, but still no word from VM.

Can someone from VM reassure me that the cancellation is in hand.

did you get a final bill? could have a chat with customer services via 150 / 0345 454 1111 to further confirm, also logging in your account to see if any active services.

Welcome to the forums and thank you for your post. I'm sorry if you're at all unsure of the disconnection of your services.

 

We wouldn't usually send confirmation that you have cancelled your services, but you should receive a final bill once your services have fully disconnected. We would normally require 30 days notice to schedule a cancellation, could you please confirm what date you processed your request and what date you were/are expecting to be disconnected?

Thanks for the reply.

I have cancelled everything phone, tv and broadband.

I did this by phone on March 21st. I'll obviously stop incurring any charges a month from then.  When you disconnect is not really important to me.

Surprised you don't have any acknowledgement in place and rely on the billing cycle, but hey, if that's how it is. . . .
