Hi,
Ive just moved house and move my VM broadband with me. I have been given a new account number, however my old account is still linked to my email, so I’m not able to register/access my new account.

You shouldn't need to register your new account - once the house moves completes your existing My Virgin Media details should link to your new account.
If that's not happened then Virgin Fibre support can fix it.
