Trying to get through to customer service to cancel my contract & give 30days notice.
I've been passed round to 3 different people & then got cut off!!!!
Maybe Virgin should consider putting a '30 days notice' button on the website.
I don't understand why it is so difficult to just cancel a contract. Virgin are quick enough to hound me every week by asking if I want to renew and then when I ask them to cancel it they cant do it!!
Still no luck with cancellation 😞

Some but not all of this advice may be useful. The suggested compo amount mentioned in that was for the OP of that thread in the context of their particular experience, and I don't think that would apply to your situation, but the postal route for cancelling and the Ofcom complaint can.
