Re: Cancelled with Virgin after 16 years due to no loyalty.

Hi Nrb

You are right! They rely on your inertia not to switch or renegotiate.

I've just spent over an hour unsuccessfully trying to get thru to Virgin. I guess with this price increase and the general state uk economy, storm clouds looming etc, the call centres are inundated with virgin customers ringing up trying to cut a better deal or leave.

I'll try again mid week when the furore has died down!

Hi Nrb

Thanks for yr advice. Congrats yr result. To get to Teeside Uk/ call centre is it best to go straight to cancelling contract?

Re: Cancelled with Virgin after 16 years due to no loyalty.

I would go through to disconnections. I had a date set and wasnt phoning to see if they would do a deal. I was past that point and annoyed. I was phoning up about something completely different but the lady looked though my account and said if she offered this and that would i stay. It was pretty much the deal I wanted in the first place so I stayed. As I said, they can do any deal, it all depends on who you talk to.
