Cancellation of TV service

I want to cancel the TV part of my package but keep my broadband. Have been on the WhatsApp chat service for over 24 hours waiting and still have recieved no help just a message to say we are busy and do you still need help!

At the point where I want to just cancel all of it and move away from VM as customer service is pretty much the worst i have come across.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Mike,

Sorry to see you are having problems trying to contact VM in order to either cancel or change your package.

The best method and time to contact them is to call  150 from a Virgin landline or mobile, or 0345 454 1111, but best to call at 8am when lines first open to avoid call queues.

Replies from the following methods aren't instant, roughly around 4 hours at times, often longer, as telephone calls take priority dependent upon staffing availability and call queues

You can text VM on 0753 305 1809 or speak to the team on WhatsApp on 0730 532 7112. 

You can also write in to cancel :- Virgin Media Sunderland SR43 4AA  If writing send it by registered (signed for post)

If I were you I would organise a flask of your favourite beverage, snacks or a hamper of goodies, put the call on loudspeaker and learn the words to the music playing so you can regale your friends and family by perfoming a karaoke at get togethers with the tunes you've learnt by heart.

On a more serious note, best of luck, stay safe and take care.
