Cancellation letter

Just a quick question for anyone else that has cancelled their account, I sent a letter (registered mail) 2 weeks ago but as of yet I’ve had no response or acknowledgement of my letter. How long does it normally take to receive a response? Really not keen on phoning as from passed experience the staff in the phones are more than useless.

thanks

Re: Cancellation letter

Depends how many letters they have to go through. Opening / reading letters takes time. Replying is more time. Imagine that for every letter.

if you’ve dated the day you are giving your notice, once it’s been got to that is the day they should be using.

Re: Cancellation letter

As far a I am aware the notice date is from date of receipt, i.e. when it was signed for. Whilst an acknowledgement would be courteous and considerate having the signed for evidence makes it less of an issue.
