Cancel Contract

So I recently agreed to join Virgin Media, connection date is the 15th of July. I've set everything up, so that's your direct debit, My Virgin Media account, contract signed, etc.

I've now since found a better deal on Virgin Media for new customers, which if you sign up you can also secure a significant amount of cashback. So my question is can I cancel my contract, which hasn't even started yet, retain my new customer status, and then immediately resign on with the better deal and terms?

Would appreciate any advice or guidance on the matter.

Re: Cancel Contract

I know you can cancel for free and sign up again but not sure if you would be classed as a new customer.

Re: Cancel Contract

I might just chance it and try, it's too tempting not to.

Re: Cancel Contract

Hi Wickles, welcome to our community forums.

If you choose to cancel your services either before installation, or during the initial 14 day CSG period of having our services you'd be able to rejoin as a new customer as you've never had an extended period of having our services.

However as you can imagine, if you cancel your order and take out a new deal this will push back your install date.

Thanks,
