It would be easy to respond with a link to the VM help page that explains the cancellation process, but I suspect you're outside your minimum term and are looking to renegotiate a new 18month contract?
If so, then sorry to say but the forum staff here can't help with those. Have you tried using the WhatsApp chat-app method instead? I wouldn't normally recommend it, but if the phone lines aren't getting anywhere, it may be an option worth trying.

This is the new normal for VM. This may explain the most practical option, although I believe the forum staff are temporarily trying to sort out the cancellations mess (don't let that stop you complaining to Ofcom though).
