Can't cash refund cheque

First of all, why are we doing cheque refunds in 2022 when you have our bank account details ? Second of all, I'm having trouble cashing it as the bank requires a picture of the front and the back of the cheque. The letter I've received is blank on the back and the app will not even take the photo. Please advise

Thank you for your post and welcome to our community. 

You will need to take a picture of the front and back.

The back will be black, however you will need to send a picture of that also.

With regards to not being able to take a picture, are you referring to your bank app?
