Call retentions or sign up as new customer

So, I pulled the trigger and cancelled Tuesday week ago (7th March) after an hour and 35 minutes of "negotiations" and my contract ends on the 7th April. No calls/emails from 2nd line retentions. So, is it worth giving them a call or just getting the missus to go and sign up as a new customer?

For info, I'm paying £65 for 250 Mbps, Maxit TV and Movies and phone with the price rise of £21.50 (35% increase). They offered £76 then £72 then £55 and finally £40.50 but only until the April price rise of £21.50 and no protection of further rises.

Just go with the best deal really.  Bear in mind your wife will be signing an 18th month contract, so will be hit by the annual price increase in due course.
