Thanks for that. Things have moved quickly ! The Wayleave form has been signed and Virgin have received that and they have requested contact info for arranging access. Let's see how long it now takes for that appointment to be set up !

Hi Karen

Indeed. My housing officer has handed it over to someone from the council's 'property services' department to liaise with Virgin's Wayleave department regarding gaining access, setting up appointments for that etc. Let me know at your end how that goes as the person in the council department does sometimes take his time to respond ! (from experience elsewhere)

The last thing I had back form James in Wayleave was:

 I’ve passed the details over to our Business Development team who deal with getting wayleaves signed by freeholders, councils etc and hopefully we can get this sorted.

I've passed your post along and asked James (my contact) for the latest Smiley Happy

Hopefully between us we can give this a nudge if it stalls in any way!

Guess what!

Here 's what I had this morning, it's looking good!

We got the wayleave agreement and contact details. The block has been validated and looks like it’s potentially viable so have been passed over to planning to carry out their work.

Once we have something back from them we can get the plans approved and go to build.

Ahh indeed, persistence pays off, though not quite there yet ! I hope the relevant people on my councils side don't delay things, does this mean there might be a connection before the year is out ? Hopefully, which would time nicely with the end of my BT contract..
