The below is a viable opportunity to be connected to the VM network.

I have forwarded the opportunity to be added to a new NBU for planning for pre wire.

It's looking good!

Hmm, so exactly what does this mean they might or are doing ? NBU = 'New Build Unit' but what is a 'pre wire' ?

Hey Theagg

I've asked the MDU teams for updates on this one.

Prewire is where they prewire up to the properties in the road and potentially to the home in advance of the network being cable if the resident agrees to this in advance.

Hmm, I wonder if what I saw by chance this morning is some 'action' ?

I spotted a guy in a hi-viz red vest (Virgin red?) out on the pavement just outside my window taking pictures of the aforementioned connection points and CATV chamber, as well as a picture in the direction my flat from the same point. Then he disappeared off up the road...

Could that have been one of the 'spotters' I wonder ?

Still all quiet. Has anyone yet informed you if there has been any definitive progress since the 'viable opportunity' post, now 7 weeks ago ? Apart from the possible but unconfirmed spotter taking pictures a few weeks ago, nothing yet seems really clear. At least I still have a few months left on my BT contract so still don't have to worry about getting tied into another 18 month one with them..But, 7 weeks is near 2 months, so, that window is getting shaved away !

Is it possible for you engage with your contact to obtain details for the management company or landlord of ******* Court to enable our wayleave teams to get this moving quickly?
