Cable My Street Request; desperate!

I can't stand the 50mb speed I get through Openreach, and I've been patiently waiting since moving here for 4-5 years for Virgin Media to arrive.

I would be a lifetime subscriber to Virgins max internet package.

I know through a friend and having seen them do it that they have just cabled the street EXTREMELY close to me in the past year or so.

Can I pm anyone my postcode and see what the status is?

I have tried so many times to fill out contact forms, and requests on the website; was always told would hear back in 5 working days but have never heard a peep.

The current build programme is now full, so you will probably be waiting several more years I'm afraid.

Getting VM installed is not a quick process due to the massive expence of build.

When the networks were originally franchised there were more than 10 cable companies putting in infrastructure. Over half of them went bust due to the cost of build, so VM's measured expansion is moving at a sustainable pace & inevitably there will be many areas that never see their service.

Thanks for the answer, but just wondering if VM staff can look up postcodes as they seem to do for everyone else and just a rough heads up or any idea would be good.

you can't stand 50mbps. I dream of them speeds. I get no Vm and NO BT Fibre where  i am now
