Breakdown of Bill

Hi

Can anyone tell me how I get a breakdown of my monthly Virgin Media package? My accountant has asked me to breakdown my monthly £99 payment to how much of that bill is for broadband, home phone/calls and TV.

My bill just says £99 a month but I can't find anywhere where a breakdown is available on Virgin Media.

Thanks for the message Ayisha_B but the link from @goslow doesn't help me find out whether I can get a breakdown of the monthly amount I pay eg how much does broadband form part of the £99 monthly charge, how much home landline and how much TV etc.

AFAIK, you can't get your bill broken down in that way. I believe it has been the case for some time and was something to do with an OFCOM ruling which prevented landline costs being identified separately as part of broadband package prices. Someone else will hopefully amend the above if I have mangled that explanation incorrectly.

You can get some information by logging into 'My Virgin Media' and the 'Bills' section

You can find an explanation of VM's bills here

https://www.virginmedia.com/help/accounts-and-billing/broadband-tv-phone/understand-my-bill

but you won't get a breakdown of your package into a cost for each service. It is now just listed as a package price.

Phone call costs are usually listed for charges over 50p but not for non-chargeable calls within your landline package. If you want full itemisation you have to request that but again, it only applies to costs outside your package.

Hi @upthebluebirds

Thanks for your message.

Your bill will display your full package price and not a breakdown for individual services unfortunately.

The only breakdown of separate charges is for your landline - taken from https://www.virginmedia.com/shop   under the sub-heading Phone towards the bottom of the page.   Phone line rental: Line rental is currently £19 a month
