Bill for broadband and landline only?

Philj59

Hi,

What would be the price of broadband and Landline only if I cancelled the tv service and had the TV box disconnected and removed?

I currently have M500 broadband and Talk Weekends and telephone line rental.

I need to make economies and am seriosuly considering getting rid of the tv altogether.

Thanks and regards,

Phil

You'll only find out what VM will offer you as a renewal by phoning in and talking to 'retentions' (or via the other means of text/chat etc.) What customers get offered at renewal can vary wildly. VM's current pricing for BB/phone is here

https://www.virginmedia.com/broadband/broadband-and-phone

which shows new customer pricing and also post-contract pricing.

VM will always try to offer you a bundle of services at a discounted price if they can (and make fewer services unattractive in their pricing schemes)

Plenty of past topics on here go into details of how to renegotiate with VM but doing your own research on alternative providers will help you decide if any deal with VM is good value or not.

If you only want BB/phone (and speed is not a major factor in your decision making) then you will almost certainly beat the post-contract linked prices above as a new customer with another provider.
