thanks for your answer the reference number 01 is for st helens i'm in scotland i recently moved from st helens should my area reference code not be changed to where i currently live

@malkyboy501 To expand on @Gareth_L's answer.  The area codes relate to the original cable company that installed the cables in your street.  01 is the code for Telewest who installed cables in multiple areas across the UK.
