I can't make an account since I keep getting the error code DEF01.
I do not have another virgin account with the email I'm using and I wish to change some settings related to my broadband but I can't.

I'm sorry to hear you're having an issue with creating a My VM account. We're aware that some people are having an issue with this and there are a few things I need to check with you.
Please try deleting the cache, cookies and history on your browser and try again. If this doesn't work, try using another browser.
You should also try registering using the My VM app instead.
If neither of these makes a difference, pop back with the URL that you are using when attempting to register your account.
