Account Transfer

Hello, I went through the process of doing an account transfer and filled a form. 

When I went to register to access my account using the details that were sent in the welcome email from Virgin media. I got the message:

You already have a My Virgin Media account

We've found an account that you set up or has been set up for you. Please click the 'Continue' button to sign in with the username shown below.

 

It says to contact the person who I requested the transfer from but I feel like we're going in circles. 

Any help anyone? Thanks

Can I ask if your received message implies the email address used is attached to another account or that your online account is already registered?
