About a bill

So I paid via phone call on the 13th of feb but it’s saying I never paid I checked my bank in case it bounced back or anything but it didn’t have bank screenshots and the app screenshots to prove it but I’m a bit baffled as it’s talking about late fees and I paid well before my payment is due and it was £64 so I’m very confused

Thanks for your post and welcome to the community.

Apologies for the inconvenience, can I ask firstly was the payment due to be direct debit first?

Also if the payment has gone through with no bounce back it will be applied to the account.

Yes it was but there were some issues and I called up we cancelled the dd and payed on the phone to the agent

Do you see two payments made on your bank statement or just the one?

Where are you seeing a late payment fee, is this on your personal bill or is this communication regarding how late payment fees might apply now that the direct debit was cancelled?
