no ringing tone

Hi,

Starting yesterday (we think) our landline phone has stopped ringing. We still get a connected tone, can still phone in and out, but no ring to let us know if someone is trying to call in. Tried on three different phones (including one new one I brought and rushed delivery thinking the old phones had died) and two different sockets and it's definitely the line, not the phones.

Virgin is not showing any faults for this area though.

Any ideas?
