Had no phone line for 5 days tried all suggestions no further forward. All most impossible to contact virgin media if you have no phone, e-mail remains unanswered, any suggestions would be helpful.

We're sorry to hear of the issue with your landline, could you please advise if the landline is connecting via the wall socket or hub at the minute?
Also, could you please confirm if you have a dial tone before you ring someone out?
Could you receive calls at all?
