landline not working

Phone been off in PO6 since last night. Whatapp chat useless. Account says no fault in area.

From checking our service I can see that your landline is currently affected by an outage, there currently isn't an estimated fix time unfortunately however our team will work as efficient as possible to resolve the problem.

Hi can you let us know the status of the fault in the PO2 area as our phone is still not working.

We need to be in contact with my 96 year old father who is living on his own.

Hi @angela29, I've been able to look into this for you, and it appears that the outage has been cleared.

Can you please confirm if the handset is connected to the landline master socket? Are there any other pieces of equipment connected to the phone line?

Yes the phone line is connected to the master wall socket.  We have even tried another phone . Nothing working.

Sorry just realised my silly husband put PO2 we are PO6.  Still having a problem though.
