landline cut off

can someone please explain why my landline has been cut off the afternoon before my new contract is due to start. I was told the broadband would cut off at midnight but reassured that the landline would not be affected when i agreed to sign the new contract.

Hi Gareth,

 

Problem has been sorted by customer services. Person who signed me up for new contract told them I had moved abroad and it was a new homeowner signing up hence the cut off 🤔.

Phone was working before our telephone conversation ended but still waiting for a callback confirming new contract.
