can i connect any phone to the line or does it have to be provided by Virgin? 
i'm in a very difficult situation at the moment and i don't think my line is active. the customer support line is closed. is there an out of hours line i can call? i really need some help right now

You would need to purchase your own landline phone to use the service.

No, there is no out of hours on the residential services. Lines open at 8am.

thank you for answering me. I have purchased a phone. I will call the line at 8am tomorrow and get them to activate my phone line. Thank you

Thank you for your post and welcome to the forums. 

 

As mentioned above - it would be your own purchased landline phone you would use. In terms of line not being active, is it possible you can expand on this? Is this relating to a fault or it not being a part of your package etc?
