Voicemail message sound won't go off

Hi,

My line is telling me I have a voicemail, so is beeping on and off,But I Don't have any. Is there a way to clear this please?

Thanks for posting and sorry to hear you've some issues with the line,

Can you confirm if you have an intermittent dial tone?

Indeed I have.

The problem is, we use a franking machine to post our mail and we can't top up as it relies on a phone connection to do so. When plugged on, the franking machine can't find a dial tone.

I too have exactly this problem. I reported it via this forum some months ago but the engineer who called said it was not something that could be fixed from my end. I am tired of it now so I bought a standalone answering machine and want to turn the voicemail service off now please.
