Virgin number port from Openreach

I had a new installation on Saturday with a pre-booked number port etc so all the tech needed to do was confirm the porting with OR and the number should have been across within 24 hours.  Ok, so it was Saturday and we all know OR don't work weekends but it's now Tuesday and the number still isn't ported across.  Virgin customer service aren't answering chat or the phone so i am putting out the feelers to find out how long it can take rather than should take.

How are things looking since your post - has the number now been ported over?

Hi Katie,

Oddly enough, two hours after I posted the issues were all resolved.  i am still wary of Virgin Media but will give them the benefit of the doubt, so long as it doesn't fail again.
