Virgin landline says "searching"

Disconnected due to decorating, when reconnected TV and box fine but phone just says "searching".

Phone not ringing and accepting calls. Have reset virgin box and still no result

Would you be able to confirm that all of your connections are nice and tight, and the landline is plugged into one of the two white inputs at the top of your hub. There is an image for reference in this thread.

Are you using a cordless phone?

'Searching' sounds like the cordless handset might be trying to find/connect to the cordless base station.

Check that the base station and handset are paired correctly with each other.
