I’ve been told that Virgin landline to Virgin landline calls are free. Is this true?

Yes. Free cable to cable landline calls haven't been a thing for probably 15 years or so!

They went the same way as the concept of a 'local' landline call.

Call cost info is here

https://www.virginmedia.com/landline/compare#callcosts

(see 'Landline' at the very bottom of the page)

inclusive minutes depends on your particular call plan for the landline

See 'Everyday call costs' guide for further breakdown

Hi @Biggordy1, thanks for your post.

As @goslow has kindly provided, that is a clear view of all our potential call charges.

However, if you do need to call Virgin Media then you can do so free of charge from a Virgin Media landline or mobile, by dialling very simply 150!
I hope this helps.

Many thanks

Hi @Biggordy1, thanks for your post.
Apologies, as I'm unsure what you mean? Do you mean landline or mobile phone package?

Regardless of what package you are on (if you have Virgin Media landline or mobile), the calls are free of charge by calling 150.

Many thanks

Tom

i have broadband tv and weekend home phone. I have 2 relatives who have the same package. Someone suggested to me if we phone our relatives from our home landline phone to their home landline phone at any time. It would be free.
I don’t think this is true.

Hi @Biggordy1, please accept my apologies as I've completely misunderstood your original post - I was referring free of charge calls to Virgin Media customer services.

As you're referring to Virgin Media to Media landline calls, you are correct and it does depend on exactly what package you're on.

For example if you're only on Talk Weekends, and you call somebody (on Virgin Media landline) in the week, then you will be charged for this call as it's not within your allowance of Weekend minutes.

I hope this helps and I'm very sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Many thanks
