VOIP switchover no sound

Hi switched over to VOID. Had engineer out to fit filter analogue phone works fine but cordless handsets have no sound. Tried resetting phones and pairing to base. Callers can hear me but I can't hear them can't hear dial tone and no ring tone. Had engineer out couldn't find fault. 

Saw a forum post a while ago about switching something on but can't remember. 

Any ideas?

I have attempted to locate your account on our side but have been unable too.

What did the engineer who came to investigate the fault advise regarding the issue?
