I have just purchased a Gigaset S850A Go handset and want to set up VOIP with my HUB3.
The phone works fine over the internet.
The Configuration wizard requests the following information.
General Data of your Service Provider
Proxy server address:
Personal Provider Data
I have searched the internet without success for Virgin Media settings. Can anyone point me in the direction of a possible configuration example so I can get an idea what's required? Finally, how does one register for a VOIP account with Virgin?
So the information that the handset is looking for is the VOIP provider settings from the provider.
Currently virginmedia don't supply a pure VOIP system, some areas are getting phone across the fibre, but that is a standard digital phone line phone using a standard phone not a VOIP phone, as the phone has to be plugged into the phone lines on the hub 3 which does the conversion.
