I have just installed my Virgin media package (Broadband, TV and Landline).
Sadly, I had to leave Virgin Media due to moving house and the new house needed major work to it. I was unable to freeze/pause my account and had to leave for 4 months
I had a landline with my old account and would like to port/transfer that landline number to my new account?
I do not want to start again and inform everyone the new number that was provided.
I only connected the phone a few days ago and already scammers, I am amazed!!
Any ideas or help would be much appreciated, I have looked on my account for a process but cannot find anything?

Welcome back! It's great to have you on board again and thanks for posting on the Community Forums.
If you disconnected your landline services altogether previously and the number is no longer active, we may not be able to get this back.

I am just finishing off the house at present and until our furniture is delivered on the 9th June I am staying with my mothering in law.
I go to the house each day to work on it and find I have missed calls.
These numbers I looked up and they were scammers!
Ofcom, Microsoft and BT,
I also answered a call from a flower company, stating they had this number on they records, provided by a customer recently?
I have not provided anyone with this number and only made a test call to my wife's mobile.
One answer machine message which was a noise?

Everything running perfectly thanks to the Virgin media team, once again.
I am over the moon with the transfer of my old number which was stopped over six months ago.
I did not expect it to be recovered.
All my friends, family and colleagues have this number.
Also it is a rememberable number.
The service I have received from Virgin media is second to none.
