Transfer of landline number

I asked for my sky landline number to be transferred. My Virgin Media was installed yesterday and I have been given a new number.  How can I have my old number transferred before my sky phone contract ends.

Thanks for posting, welcome to both the community and indeed Virgin Media 🙂

Normally this happens, where we give you a temporary number at the start and then port it in a few days after.

I shall send you a PM now though to get the details to check 🙂
