I recently joined and had a new number for my landline as was nervous the transfer would not happen with COVID 19. I have now given BT notice to end the contract and wanted to see if I can now port my old BT phone number over. Can't find a phone number to call.
To port the number the account has too be active if you have given BT notice to cancel, then BT will refuse the number port, as with number ports VM will request the port to BT and at point BT will cancel the account.
