Transfer landline from sky to virgin

Hi,

Has anyone else had the landine transfer saga from Sky to Virgin.

its now almost 3 months since i moved to Virgin and my buisiness number still hasnt been ported over.

Both parties are blaming each other.

Yep in same boat although I'm only just over a month . . . clearly from a quick google search and ongoing issue

Im resindental, been on the phone all day trying to get the number transferred.

No joy as yet have had to request my number be re activated by Open Reach

Porting a residential to residenial, but the landline number is used for my building company

Just so We get this right 

The number you want to port over is with BT its active and a residential number

It was with Sky, but Virgin for some reason didnt port the number in time, now it needs to be re activated by Open Reach

As we need an active to active line to process the port

Spent hours on the phone today to various members of Virgin staff only 2 out of 6 knew what they were doing.

3 Americans didnt have a clue one thought an 0208 number was a mobile??
