I've had virgin media installed today and there has been a new number assigned to the phone line but I asked to keep my old number, how do I get it back?

A warm welcome and thanks for posting on our community forums. Can we ask if you requested for your number to ported across to us on your original order?
If your original landline number is still active with your old provider, we will happily get your number transferred across to us.
Can you let us know if your phone line is still active with your old provider?

Hi yes my old number is still active but I want to keep it and had asked for it to be ported but done this through an agent as having trouble doing it online
