I have just received a phone call with the number showing as 000000.... The caller claimed to be from Virgin and said I need to change the channel on my router. She knew my email address, which I did not confirm and I did not give her any details at all and I haven't touched my router. I don't think this call was from Virgin, but I am not sure. I told her I would contact Virgin myself. Do you think this was suspicious?
It doesn't sound like a genuine call from us, we wouldn't repeat any personal details back to our customers over the telephone. If you haven't already it might be worth registering your landline / mobile with the telephone preference service, you can see how to do this here.
