Not sure where to report this. Apparently it is a VM number.
Fraud call. Recorded message alleged a high value foreign transaction on my credit card - no details, just "press 1 to speak to an agent".
Means nothing. The number is in Virgin's OFCOM allocation for the Wigan area. However if the number has then been ported by a customer to another provider then VM only deals with incoming calls TO the number (which it diverts to the new provider), not calls made from it. The number may even be "spoofed" & totally ficticius.
